What is the NARUTO CARD GAME?
An intro to Bandai's Naruto TCG - who's making it, what's confirmed so far, and when it launches.

For those who don't know, the NARUTO CARD GAME is a new trading card game (TCG) officially announced by BANDAI CARD GAMES, based on Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series.
The game is designed for competitive TCG players and is scheduled for a worldwide release in summer 2027. Kishimoto shared a message celebrating the project: "I'm glad to see the world of NARUTO grow larger once again."
On July 29, 2026, Bandai revealed the game's core mechanics, card types, and first wave of character art, drawing from all three eras of the anime - NARUTO, NARUTO: SHIPPUDEN, and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS.
The game made its first public hands-on appearance at Gen Con 2026 (July 30–August 2, Indianapolis), with free tutorial sessions run on demo decks - note that the decks themselves weren't given away. Everyone who completed a session received a promo Chakra Card, a backpack, a sticker, and a voucher to buy a limited-edition 2027 playmat.
From there, Bandai has a packed roadmap of events through the 2027 launch, including BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27, New York Comic Con, PAX Aus, Spiel Essen, Paris Games Week, and Lucca Comics & Games, with in-store tutorial sessions rolling out starting January 2027.
